Since the birth of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA), Trinity Theological College has provided relevant high quality theological education to UCA candidates for ministry in Queensland, Australia. Increasingly, the college has broadened its focus by offering educational services within reach of everyone in the community. As a result, study at Trinity Theological College now occurs in a rich ecumenical and multicultural environment.

On April 29th Trinity co-hosted with St.Paul's Theological College a joint book lauch to celebrate the publication of David Rankin's Athenagoras: Philosopher and Theologian (Ashgate) and Orm Rush's The Eyes of Faith: The Sense of the Faithful and the Chruch's Reception of Revelation (Catholic University of America Press). David's book was launched by former Moderator of the Qld Synod of the Uniting Church, Rev. Dr. David Pitman. Dr. Pitman commended David's scholarship and spoke of the significant achievement which this book represented.

Trinity Theological College is a member school of the Brisbane College of Theology (BCT) along with St Francis Theological College (Anglican) and St Paul's (Catholic). Each member school of the BCT brings its own Christian tradition to the co-operative ecumenical life of the College.
