This course is designed to give all people connected with the Uniting Church a detailed understanding of the theological influence that the “Mission of God” and the “Faith of the Church” had on the formation of the Basis of Union. The Identity, Purpose and Future of the Uniting Church is informed by the Basis of Union therefore, inspiration from the past will aim to contribute to the revitalisation of the Uniting Church in Australia’s capacity to serve the mission of God in the future.
